A collectible mixed media found object artwork incorporating vintage book page illustrations of birds from my collection. These birds have been retrieved from vintage books, some 100 years old, some 50 years old, before I carve them out. The vintage patty tin provides a wonderfully fluted frame for each bird in the story. A story of bird watching and not being afraid to stand out in a crowd. (note the cheeky and only coloured bird in the narrative.)

Framed in a Corban and Blair black shadow box frame with rear hanger.
