These original textural collages are made up from vintage book illustrations, Mrs. Beeton’s Recipe Illustrations, text from a 1904 Etiquette Book, Napkin Folding Brochures, stitched with vintage thread and given pin pricks of light with vintage needles.
Set on watercolor card and framed in @corbanblair Box frames.

I found this 1904 observation so amusing that I had to turn an anatomical etching of a tongue into a house frock to celebrate its’ apparent sentinel importance in our gourmet experience! Somewhat tongue in cheek, how incredible would it be to see @peachesanddiesel104 recreate this outfit 😂 or @celestebarber ? I’m not fussy. 😊
