Foolhouse was conceived over a decade ago, after the sweet lunacy of working from home with small children and alongside many epic chapters in the commercial design industry. A Graphic & Retail Interior Designer by trade, Sarah Lamond, has added Maker & Merchant to her juggling act.

This foolhardy mix appeals to her love of variety and her passion for applying her design skills across a multitude of platforms. Adoring the detail and nostalgia of a vintage aesthetic, she adores repurposing collectibles to give them a surprising twist. Foolhouse is the dream neighbour to her design consultancy Design Anomaly, allowing her an essential, playful balance of traditional, hand-crafting skills, side by side with computer-centric savviness. Sarah has applied her signature style to a myriad of private and public commissions alongside her pop-ups, in-person at pre-eminent Design Markets around Australia . All assemblage, tooling, paper artistry, coffee reverence, treasure hunts, design & illustration is carried out in her secret studio at the bottom of her garden in Sydney.
