STRAWBERRY JAM
Whether you are a booklover or a foodie or simply looking for some creative magic in your life, I have made some sweet book berries to adorn your shelves ! These mini iconic jam jars hold one berry each and are carved from miscellaneous vintage books from my collection.
(The jar measures 5cm in diameter and is 6cm tall.)
These sculptures were created to use up any paper removed in the making of my Secret Vintage Booksafes. I try not to waste any of the old books i carve out and these endearing three dimensional book sculptures help with that mission. It is much more environmentally friendly to re-use rather than recycle old and damaged books. To recycle books, you need olympic sized pools of water, a much needed resource that we should save for better things.
