What’s the Key?

By Sarah Lamond

This collectible story came together using an old french map, some computer parts, porcelain doll samples, typewriter key mounts, keyhole piece. an old key and metal stars, all mounted within a Corban and Blair Shadow Box Frame.

I keep strange objects until they come together and talk to me of a story. This one speaks of finding people, of finding connection amongst chaos. Perhaps the motherboard is a great city, perhaps it represents the online world? and as we wander through it, what is the key to finding, the one? to finding another like us? to finding connection in this great maze of life?

These whimsical framed found objects are an exciting addition to a gallery wall collection or sit easily on a shelf amongst collectibles or books. (The frame measures 250mm x 250mm x 45mm)

Give this quandry to your tech friend or the one that you solved the puzzle with or keep it to yourself to ponder – find the perfect spot on the book shelf or wall to add some dimension and novelty.
