‘Flight of Fancy’
One of my curious collectible artworks framed serendipitously by a 1920’s vintage cast iron gem scone tray.
Using and curating vintage book illustrations from my collection, a new story is pulled together from old.
Each illustration is adhered to a disc that is mounted within the half-spheres of the tray.
These etchings are from pre-1900 Natural History Books and are one-of-a-kind.
These Three-dimensional artworks sit deliciously on a shelf or hang simply on a nail in the wall nestled amongst other mixed artworks.
