MAGIC MUSHROOMS
Whether you are a mycophile (a lover of funghi) or simply looking for some creative magic in your life, I have made some sweet umami magic mushroom book sculptures to adorn your bookshelf. This medium size cloche holds 2 carved book mushrooms with a double-sided pale blue butterfly and mushroom inserted between the pages.
These magic mushrooms are carved from Heidi by Johanna Spyri 1976
All the information of the book it was carved from is on the base so that its’ history is always kept with it.
(The cloche measures 6.7cm in diameter and is 10.5cm tall.)
These sculptures were created to use up any paper removed in the making of my Secret Vintage Booksafes. I try not to waste any of the paper i carve out and these endearing three dimensional book sculptures were the result. They are a wonderful dimension on your bookshelf for the bookish amongst us.
