For all the wise ones out there, I have created my tiniest sculpture to celebrate the knowledgeable ones in our lives.
Carved from close to 100 pages of Cinderella’s Garden by W. Dixon, this 1930’s vintage book sculpture will add an unexpected dimension to your bookshelf.
The glass cloche measures approx. 4.5cm in diameter and is approx. 7cm tall.
All the information of the book it was carved from is on the base so that its’ history is always kept with it. All owls are double sided so that they can be viewed from all angles!
Note: When I make the Secret Vintage Booksafes I try not to waste any of the paper i carve out and re-use it to make these endearing three dimensional book sculptures for the bookish amongst us. Sometimes the sculptures capture the blank edges and sometimes they carve through the lettering giving each one an individuality of tones.
