This handmade assemblage is certainly one-of-a-kind! Milly Molly Mandy always struck me as hilarious as she was always concerned with being Naughty and what she got up to was so innocent by today’s standards!
I came across a very damaged copy circa 1940 and could just retrieve some of the illustrations and install them in this miscellaneous vintage book tea cup. Slotted into the side is one of her illustrations of a comfy chair and a food cloche as well as a vintage collectible spoon. The Main Characters are merrily sipping away on their tea in pride of place.
The glass cloche measures approx. 9cm in diameter and is 16cm tall. All the information of the sculpture is recorded on the base of the cloche.
It is a delightful keepsake for bookshelves and mantles and a great gifts for bookish tea lovers!
